Research Line I: Effectiveness of Judicial Decisions and Human Rights
This line is dedicated to research addressing the interrelationship between the effectiveness of judicial decisions and Human Rights, aiming to explore ways to enhance the effectiveness of judicial rulings in light of contemporary Human Rights theory. Within this thematic territory, the line seeks to connect legal practice with transformative action on the conditions of Brazilian citizenship.
Research Line II: Jurisdictional Instruments, Access to Justice, and Human Rights
This research line aims to anchor its studies in the broadly understood concept of jurisdiction, focusing on the need to develop theoretical mechanisms to deepen and improve it within a framework of collective, diffuse, and transindividual fundamental rights. Through this line, the program seeks to intensify interdisciplinary theoretical discussion on access to justice, particularly from the standpoint that its realization goes beyond the normative dimension, as even simple empirical analysis demonstrates.
