About ProfÁgua

ProfÁgua is a free nationwide professional stricto sensu Master’s program offered through a network that provides comprehensive training to professionals, combining theory and practice to enhance their effectiveness in the water resources field. It focuses on understanding and incorporating the dimensions related to integrated water resources management such as quality and quantity, legal, institutional and environmental aspects, water availability, and regulation.

ProfÁgua offers theoretical, conceptual, and methodological support to professionals, improving their performance through critical, reflective, and creative engagement in professional practice environments. Since its inception, ProfÁgua has maintained a CAPES rating of 4, ensuring the quality of the program for students.

To promote qualified training of professionals working in the water resources field, disseminating technical, scientific, and innovative knowledge based on ethical, moral, and humanistic principles, contributing integrally to sustainable development.
