The Environmental Sciences area of concentration aims to debate, analyze, and generate knowledge related to environmental issues and their interfaces, from a socio-environmental perspective. The theoretical and methodological assumptions that address the conservation of biodiversity and natural resources, society's ways of life, and its relationship with nature, especially in the Legal Amazon, are among key issues that are approached throughout the program.
