Admissions
The Postgraduate Program in Environmental Sciences at the Federal University of Tocantins (PPGCiamb/UFT) opens admissions annually to the master's and doctoral programs. Public notices are usually published in June, with 14 vacancies for the master's program (including 2 affirmative action places) and 10 vacancies for the doctoral program (including 2 affirmative action places). Vacancies are allocated based on the candidate's adherence to the program faculty's guidelines.
Regular students are selected through curriculum vitae (CV) review, research project evaluation, and an interview. A preliminary research project must be submitted according to the template provided in the public notice. English proficiency is required for admission to the master's program. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required for the doctorate.
Currently, PPGCiamb offers the possibility of admission as a "special student", with selection processes following the academic calendar.
Other Opportunities
In addition to the selection process for regular students, the program conducts selection processes for postdoctoral fellowships. Admissions to postdoctoral fellowships without a scholarship are open continuously (rolling admission), while those with a scholarship are subject to the availability of resources. Faculty accreditation is based on program demand, with reaccreditation every two years.
