    Curriculum – Master’s Degree

    The Professional Master’s in Jurisdictional Performance and Human Rights (PPGPJDH) has a minimum duration of 2 (two) semesters and a maximum of 4 (four) regular academic semesters. The deadline for submission of the final product may be extended by up to one semester, provided the student submits a justified request, with the necessary consent of the advisor, and has not previously used a leave of absence.

    Minimum programmed activities

    - International Human Rights Congress (organized by the program).

    - 2 bibliographic products and 1 technical product, or 1 bibliographic product and 2 technical products.

    - Orientation Seminar (6 credits).

    The minimum number of credits must reach 24. Credits from courses taken in other stricto sensu postgraduate programs may be applied exclusively to elective courses, provided they are compatible with the content of the Program in which the student is enrolled, with the advisor’s consent and the program coordinator’s approval. A leave of absence may be requested by the student from the program coordinator, provided academic deadlines are respected, with proper justification and advisor consent.

    • The leave is valid for 1 (one) regular semester, according to the official course calendar.

    • The leave request may be made either to suspend the current regular semester or a future regular semester.

    • Only 1 (one) leave of absence will be granted, and the semester of leave will be counted toward the course duration, in accordance with §1 of Art. 3 of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Course Regulations of UFT.

    To obtain the degree and receive the Master’s diploma, the student must meet the requirements established in the internal course regulations: the student must complete all mandatory courses totaling 12 (twelve) credits, the Orientation Seminar with 6 (six) credits, and a minimum of 3 (three) transversal courses totaling 6 (six) credits.

    In addition to completing the required credits, the student must pass a qualification exam, a foreign language proficiency test (English, Spanish, or French), produce the required products, and successfully defend the final product before the examination board.
