Focuses on the application of theoretical principles, methodologies, and technologies for the sustainable management of water resources at both technical and institutional levels. This includes the analysis of watersheds through hydrological and hydraulic studies, as well as water quality assessment using modeling and geoprocessing technologies, among others, to enable the rational use of water resources.
Environmental Sanitation:
Aims at developing technologies for pollution control, water quality management, sewage and effluent treatment, rainwater harvesting, effluent reuse, evaluation of sanitation service sustainability, and urban solid waste management, as well as addressing legal and institutional aspects of environmental sanitation management.
Environmental Geotechnics:
A branch of Civil Engineering that combines geotechnics with environmental concerns, seeking sustainable solutions for issues such as soil and water contamination.
Sustainable Materials:
Focused on the development and application of materials with low environmental impact, aiming for technical performance aligned with ecological responsibility.
