Curriculum

PPG-Bíonorte presents a curriculum composed of mandatory and optional courses, complementary activities, research projects, seminars and internships.

The Doctoral program is completed upon approval by an examining board of an unpublished thesis, in addition to meeting the minimum technical and scientific production requirements, as established in the relevant regulatory instructions. The timeframe for completion of the program varies between 24 (twenty-four) and 48 (forty-eight) months, including the time allocated for the preparation and defense of the thesis.

To be eligible for defense, the doctoral student must complete a minimum total of 200 credits, distributed as follows:

• 13 credits in mandatory courses;
• 17 credits in elective courses and/or complementary activities;
• 170 credits attributed to the Doctoral Thesis.
