Area of Concentration
Geoterritorial and Geoenviromental Dynamics:
By choosing the concentration area "Geoterritorial and Geoenvironmental Dynamics", the Postgraduate Program in Geography at UFT aims to address territorial issues in its main aspects: the geoenvironmental, in which natural processes and social actions and practices are interconnected; the geoterritorial, in which political, economic, social, and cultural dimensions are interrelated; and Geography teaching, which seeks to discuss Geography within the context of school education and teacher training. The three lines contribute to the organization and reorganization of the territory, geographic space, and geographic categories in the teaching–learning relationship. This involves the systematization of a wide range of geographic knowledge within a broad concentration area, which in turn enables the expansion of scientific research in Geography.
