Admissions

The Postgraduate Program in Philosophy at the Federal University of Tocantins (PPGFIL/UFT) opens admissions annually for the master's program. Public notices are usually published in December, with ten vacancies distributed equally between two research lines.

The selection process consists of a series of stages that include a research project evaluation (eliminatory and qualifying, weighted 3 points), a specific knowledge test (eliminatory and qualifying, weighted 3 points), an interview (eliminatory and qualifying, weighted 3 points), and a curriculum vitae (CV) analysis on the Lattes platform (qualifying, weighted 1 point). A preliminary research project is required, with detailed guidelines outlined in the public notice. Candidates must demonstrate foreign language proficiency in one of the following languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, or German.

PPGFIL offers admission under the "special student" modality, with public notices published biannually, close to the beginning of each semester.
