Admissions

The Postgraduate Program in Regional Development at the Federal University of Tocantins (PPGDR/UFT) opens admissions annually for its master's and doctoral programs. Public notices are usually published in May and June, with vacancies distributed by discipline.

Regular students are selected through eliminatory and qualifying stages: application documents (eliminatory), analysis of the curriculum vitae (CV) published on the Lattes platform and supporting documents (qualifying), project evaluation, and an oral exam. A preliminary research project is required. Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language through the UFT Language Center.

The PPGDR offers admission as a "special student" every semester, depending on the availability of elective courses.
