Admissions
The Postgraduate Program in Arts at the Federal University of Tocantins (PPGArtes/UFT) is awaiting approval from the National Council of Education (CNE) to begin its first selection process. Admissions to the program occur annually, with public notices usually published in October. Approximately 10 vacancies are available during each selection process, distributed between the program's research lines (5 vacancies for each line).
The public notices for the selection process for regular students will be released in October of each year.
Selection Process
Selection for regular students occurs through two main stages:
- Document analysis (qualifying);
- An interview including defense of the proposed work plan (eliminatory).
To register, it is necessary to submit a work plan, which must be prepared based on a list of items and questions presented in the selection process public notice.
After admission, students must demonstrate proficiency in English or Spanish to complete the course, but this requirement does not apply to the selection process.
Other Opportunities
PPGArtes/UFT has not yet defined the number of vacancies available under the "special student" category, nor the selection process criteria and deadlines. The program has also not defined other selection processes, such as postdoctoral fellowships, scholarships, mentoring, or faculty accreditation.
