Admissions
Selection for the Master’s in Digital Agroenergy takes place once a year, typically between September and December, with classes beginning in March of the following year. Occasionally, selection may also occur between April and June, with classes starting in August, depending on faculty availability for supervision.
The number of available spots is defined by the program’s collegiate board and may vary; however, program regulations require that all permanent faculty offer at least two positions every two years. Thus, there is always a minimum of 10 spots available, with the possibility of more.
The Master’s in Digital Agroenergy is intended for candidates holding a higher education degree recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), either at the Bachelor’s or Licentiate level, or with documentation proving completion of the undergraduate program before the start of the semester, in fields related to:
- Agrarian Sciences
- Biological Sciences
- Health Sciences
- Exact and Earth Sciences
- Engineering
- Human Sciences
- Applied Social Sciences
The evaluation process is conducted entirely online and is divided into two stages:
- Stage I – Registration Approval (Prerequisite)
- Stage II (Classificatory and Eliminatory): – Oral Examination - Curriculum analysis, professional profile evaluation, and research project analysis and defense.
