Admissions
The Postgraduate Program in Chemistry at the Federal University of Tocantins (PPGQ/UFT) opens admissions each semester for the master's program. Public notices are generally published in December and May, with approximately seven vacancies per semester, including one vacancy reserved for affirmative action. These vacancies are distributed among the program's faculty advisors.
Regular student selection is carried out through two main stages: curriculum vitae (CV) review and interview. It is not necessary to submit a preliminary research project during the selection process. However, to apply, a three-page literature review on the chosen advisor's research area is required. The literature review and the interview are used in the candidate's selection process.
After admission, students must demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language to defend their dissertation.
Currently, the PPGQ does not offer admission under the "special student" modality.
Other Opportunities
In addition to admission as a regular student, the PPGQ does selection processes for master's program scholarships each semester. The professor accreditation process is based on program demand.
