The Postgraduate Program in Forest and Environmental Sciences at the Federal University of Tocantins (PPGCFA/UFT) conducts semiannual selection processes for regular admission to the Master’s course. Calls for applications are generally published in May for entry in the second semester and in October for entry in the first academic semester, with fifteen spots available per period, distributed at the discretion of the coordination.

Student selection occurs in a single stage, consisting of an interview and project presentation held on the same day. The research project proposal must be presented at this stage. Additionally, students must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, which can be done up to one year after enrollment in the course.

The program only offers admission as a "special student" in exceptional cases.

PPGCFA is awaiting the publication, in the coming months, of the approval by MEC/CNE of the doctoral course in Forest and Environmental Sciences.
