Admissions

The Graduate Program in Biotechnology at the Federal University of Tocantins (PPGBiotec/UFT) conducts biannual selection processes for the admission of regular Master’s students. The calls for applications are generally published in May for entry in the second semester and in October for entry in the first semester, with fifteen spots available per period, distributed at the discretion of the coordination.

The student selection occurs in a single stage, consisting of an interview and project presentation, both held on the same date. The research proposal must be presented during this stage. Additionally, students must demonstrate proficiency in English, which can be done within one year after entering the program.

PPGBiotec only offers admission as a “special student” in exceptional cases.
