The Asian Continent, the largest and most populous on the planet, is a geographically diverse and culturally rich region. Stretching from the Middle East to the Far East, and from the Arctic to the Indian Ocean, Asia encompasses a wide range of ecosystems, including majestic mountains, vast plains, arid deserts, lush tropical forests and a vast coastline. With a history spanning thousands of years, the continent has witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations, empires and trade routes that connected the West with the East.

Diverse cultures and languages ​​coexist in Asia, reflecting a rich tapestry of traditions, religions and schools of thought. The continent is also a major economic hub, home to some of the world’s most dynamic economies and playing a key role in global relations. Despite this, Asia faces challenges such as socioeconomic disparities, regional conflicts, environmental issues and the need to reconcile traditions with ever-evolving modernity.

The Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) has partnerships with several universities spread across the Asian Continent, thus ensuring the university's internationalization.
