    Internationalization
    Internationalization and UFT's PDI

    Internationalization and UFT's PDI

Versão em português | Versión en español

UFT's Institutional Development Plan (PDI in the original) brings a clear and bold emphasis on the area of internationalization. One of its strategic objectives is to ensure that 100% of undergraduate and graduate courses are internationalized by 2025, not only through the updating of the Course Pedagogical Projects (PPCs), but through the concrete implementation of actions that make this objective feasible and, alongside other strategic pillars established by the PDI, position the university prominently in the global context. Therefore, in pursuit of achieving this strategic objective and others that involve the area of internationalization, the coordination team has a clear objective in the PDI (2021–2025) to work actively toward the consolidation of institutional policies that go beyond mere student mobility, having a direct impact on undergraduate and graduate programs and on the development of a globalized and inclusive student body.

The PDI clearly includes, among other actions, adherence to governmental programs that promote internationalization; the establishment of international agreements for mutual cooperation; the strengthening of the internationalization policy; the promotion of the formation of international networks; contributions to the regulation of internationalized curricula in undergraduate and graduate programs and dual degrees; the promotion of knowledge production and innovation through high-impact scientific publications in English, co-authored with researchers from international institutions; and the inclusion of international researchers in stricto sensu graduate programs, among other necessary actions to boost internationalization and enable the delivery of innovative, inclusive, and high-quality education (PDI 2021–2025/UFT).

The actions of the PDI, contained in ANNEX I, that involve the Coordination for Internationalization are
