About the Internationalization Coordination

Linked to the Innovation Agency (Inovato) and the Interinstitutional Relations Directorate of the President's Office, the Internationalization Coordination, known as Relinter, aims to promote the global integration of the Federal University of Tocantins, contribute to the enrichment of the university experience of UFT students, professors and technicians, as well as foster innovation and scientific development through international exchanges and partnerships.

One of Relinter's main focuses is the articulation of international exchange programs and the celebration of bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements that allow students and teachers the opportunity to have educational experiences in other countries and foster research projects that integrate scientists and institutions from different parts of the world.

At the same time, Relinter seeks to strengthen the teaching and learning of foreign languages ​​within UFT through institutional language policies. Offering language courses in partnership with the Center for Continuing Studies in Languages, Linguistics and Arts (CECLLA) is an example of projects implemented to achieve this objective.

The partnership with CECLLA is just one example of how Relinter collaborates with professors, researchers, undergraduate and graduate programs, institutes and centers, which are essential for the success of internationalization activities. In addition, Relinter maintains close communication with the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, associations and other institutions, representing UFT and establishing strategic partnerships on issues related to internationalization.

In line with the university's Institutional Development Plan (PDI), Relinter is committed to contributing to an education of excellence and the development of citizens and professionals prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the contemporary world, from a perspective of connection between the local, the regional and the global spheres.
