About the Internationalization Coordination

Linked to the Office of the Rector, the Secretariat for International Affairs and Global Cooperation, known as Relinter, aims to promote the global integration of the Federal University of Tocantins and to foster innovation and scientific development through international exchanges and partnerships.

One of Relinter’s main areas of activity is the coordination of international mobility programs and the establishment of bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements that allow students and professors to experience educational opportunities in other countries.

At the same time, Relinter seeks to strengthen the teaching and learning of foreign languages within UFT through its institutional language policy. Among its initiatives is the offering of language courses in partnership with the Center for Continuing Studies in Languages, Linguistics and Arts (Ceclla).

The partnership with Ceclla is just one example of how Relinter works in collaboration with professors, researchers, undergraduate and graduate programs, institutes, and research centers. In addition, Relinter maintains communication with the Ministry of Education, the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other institutions, establishing strategic partnerships related to internationalization.

In line with the University’s Institutional Development Plan (PDI), Relinter is committed to contributing to excellence in education and to the development of citizens and professionals prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the contemporary world.
