Artistic and Methodological Processes in Teaching the Arts
This research line addresses the processes of teaching, learning, and creation, drawing on theoretical and methodological approaches in the arts and their media implications. It brings together research on methodological innovations, technical improvements, and scientific solutions related to studies and research that articulate artistic practices and teaching processes, as well as investigations focused on the methodological and experimental aspects of educational practices in formal and informal educational contexts. The research line also addresses topics related to intercultural education, teacher training, art, and interdisciplinarity. It is intended for projects by professionals working in educational settings with interfaces in public and private education systems, as well as educators from various socio-educational contexts working in the arts.
Artistic Practices and Experiences
This line of research involves the development of research focused on the processes of creation, dissemination, and appreciation of artistic products, as well as their media implications. It is based on reflection on practices, concepts, and critiques of artistic creation processes, addressing poetics in its relationship to theory, history, and criticism, as well as the aesthetic aspects of the artist-researcher's artistic practice. Different concepts, procedures, and methodologies related to musical creation, performance art, and the performing arts are investigated, including the visual aspects of the stage, staging, and acting, articulating processes of analysis and knowledge construction of artistic know-how. This line of research is intended for projects by professional artists active in the areas of creation and execution, executive production, public and private cultural management, and technical elements of the arts.
